The limited Letters From Eva continues, as we explore the secret origins of Eva Gray… The White Lady.
Sounds to me like the ends of her sanity are fraying…
Anyone want to take a wild guess at what she did (or didn’t do) to land herself in a resort like Reinstadtler?
Considering how messed up this place sounds, feels like it would have to be a lot. Then again who knows? Could be someone wanted her separated from Cas.
I’m guessing she killed Cas.
Mel T’s theory seems like the best one. In some psychotic breaks the patient will block out events that led to or were committed after the break, And after that they will create complex delusions about what is happening to them. In Eva’s mentions of cruelty to her it is possible that she is imagining all sorts of horrors, But then again the institutions of that time were known to have cruel people working there with no one to listen or believe anything that the patient had to say.
Ha, I just got it. Casper, she’s a ghost lady. Hehehehe. Also, Reinstadtler is German, no? Is this perhaps WWII era? Maybe she’s a political enemy? Just thinking out loud here.

@Toaster – Reinstadtler is German. WWI was happening at this time though, I do like your theory about that playing a role in Eva’s life…

I just realized there was a date at the top. 1915 was certainly NOT WWII. Reinstadtler is German, but is it IN Germany?

She’s in Minnesota. And she’s went psycho, and slaughtered thousands of innocent chickens before they could stop her. Or maybe she’s being framed….by the Colonel.
Cas died in the war and Eva went nuts. Or she’s Mata Hari’s counterpart, super sexy spy.
Who knows, during this time period, it could be as simple as postpartum depression or epilepsy, they threw women into asylums for everything.
