And so we bid farewell to our dear Steve “Bulit” McQueen. Is Wynn justified in hurling the hot-headed brute thousands of miles into the atmosphere? Well, as wise man once said, “never rub another man’s rhubarb”. You be the judge.

That middle panel is absolutely awesome. Bulit’s pose and the expression on his face are wonderful.
And that line, “So long, Steve” was perfect – not the pithy witty banter of super powered beings. Just a nice contrite refrain.
I can relate to at least two things in that sequence, both finishing Steve off and the need to say “so long” afterwards. Both are understandable.
